In the summer of 2024, we’ll be opening a new and larger facility near NAS Jacksonville in the Orange Park area, serving more families with little ones from 12 months to 5 years of age.

Kids at Play is a child-led, place-based learning environment. We focus on each child’s individual journey, rather than reaching a destination — allowing time and space in a living environment that is dynamic, forming, evolving and encourages real-life interactions.
We’re under construction . . .
Our new Orange Park location includes a large outdoor space for play, creativity, and learning the natural way.
Our classrooms will provide age-appropriate home like atmospheres. We will have a mud room for our catchalls to stay organized with all the indoor/outdoor experiences and a kitchen to continue providing free quality meals.
We plan to be open in the fall and are building a waiting list now.

Passion drives us at Kids at Play. Our purpose? To enhance the learning environment for both children and teachers.
In the realm of education, we often emphasize molding young minds but forget to nourish our own. Teachers, the unsung heroes, often face burnout with little support. We witnessed this firsthand and knew a change was overdue.
At Kids at Play, we vowed to reignite the spark. Our mission: not only educate children, but uplift teachers. Every educator at Kids at Play brings a unique style to our school. We’re dedicated to empowering them, fostering authenticity, and in turn, inspiring our kids.
Coming in the summer of 2024, we’re thrilled to unveil our second Kids at Play location in Jacksonville, Florida. What began as a small idea has blossomed into a hub of creativity. Our innovative programs like “Praise the Outdoors” foster collaboration and shift the learning atmosphere. By prioritizing the outdoors, we celebrate individuality and intentionality in teaching and learning.
As we expand, our core values remain unchanged. Kids at Play is committed to creating a nurturing environment that supports both children and educators.
